Photosynth from India

This technology from Microsoft is amazing, but Google seems to have leaped over it with a technology that does the same with all pictures stored on Google maps. Photosynth seems limited by the fact you have one author, one synth, one set of images rather than a growing collection of images evolving a global synth, which is what Google is doing.
